This Victoria Day, we at Herbin Jewellers have taken the opportunity to be inspired by present royalty, as well as Queen Victoria herself! We’ve perused our shelves and put together collections that reflect the charm and elegance of princesses and queens.
PRINCESS ANNE
Princess Anne has always paired her classy jewellery looks with an updo to show off her lustrous pearls or sparkling diamonds. From ‘84, her ‘diamond on diamond’ look is a timeless choice, and sure to be a show-stopper at any dinner party. Our choices, a sterling silver necklace and of cubic zirconia and pearls is a delicate nod to this stunning look. We’ve taken inspiration from her gorgeous brooch and suggested a pair of 14K white gold sapphire earrings with diamond halos.

If you’re feeling more inspired by Princess Anne’s extensive collection of pearls, you’re always set to layer pearl strands. In ‘05, the princess opted for drop pearl earrings as a fun alternative to the usual studs, and even in studs in ‘82 the white metal bezel made her stand out. Princess Anne’s ’82 pearl earrings are so reminiscent of these sterling silver studs that we could not resist.

BEATRICE
While Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are always well-dressed and fashion-forward, we are particularly obsessed with their wedding-day looks. Beatrice glitters with hundreds of diamonds on her gorgeous tiara and stunning gown! We think our 14K white gold diamond “sprinkle” necklace is reminiscent of the sparkles across her gown. Inspired by her tiara, this elegant 1.00 carat two-row diamond ring in 14K white gold ring is our top pick! We’ve also selected a pair of 0.50CT Canadian diamond studs to complete the look.

EUGENIE
Eugenie’s look is also diamond-studded, but with the added flair of lustrous emeralds! We were inspired by her diamond-and-emerald tiara and earrings to choose this 14K white gold oval emerald and diamond ring. But who could forget her exceptional padparadscha sapphire engagement ring? We couldn’t! Morganite is an excellent alternative for her ring – and this 14KT rose gold morganite ring from our Noam Carver collection finishes the look.

CATHERINE
Of course, Duchess Catherine’s jewellery is always gorgeous, and we couldn’t resist matching two of her looks. We’ve been inspired by her ornate lace and diamond accessories on her wedding day and thought this 14K rose gold floral Canadian diamond necklace emulates the swirling designs of her tiara. We’ve also picked a pair of CZ drop earrings to go with the look!
We also must highlight her heirloom engagement ring with a sapphire and diamond halo of our own! Featuring our 10K white gold sapphire ring with diamond halo, and Noam Carver’s Diana-inspired ring that can be customized with white gold and a centre blue sapphire.

If you’re after a more day-to-day Duchess Catherine look, we’ve noticed she likes to wear yellow gold discs on layered gold chains, personalized with her children’s initials. While you can certainly get engraved jewellery like Catherine’s, we’ve also selected a zodiac-inspired 10K yellow gold and diamond necklace. Pair these with a bold but simple set of round gold earrings, like these yellow gold plated earrings from our Anne-Marie Chagnon collection and the Duchess look is complete.

QUEEN VICTORIA
Of course, on Victoria Day, it would be remiss of us not to mention the incomparable jewellery of Queen Victoria herself. We’ve been inspired by this young-Victoria ruby look and wanted to feature our ruby collection – a true Victorian gem! This 14K white gold ring, with a diamond-halo set ruby has a Queen Victoria flair. Inspired by her coronet, this 10K white gold necklace features a beautiful oval ruby set in another diamond halo. Finally, to finish this extravagant ruby look, the pair of ruby pear-shaped earrings evoke the Queen’s eye-catching brooch.
